Bombay Darbar was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and easily one of our favorite meals of the entire trip! I really wish I had written down our waiter's name because he deserves to be recognized. He was wonderful from beginning to end - attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in making sure we enjoyed our experience. They started us with papad (papadum) and two chutneys - a green mint-cilantro and a sweet tomato-based chutney. Both were SO delicious that we had to ask for more. 😂 My daughter ordered the chicken coconut curry, which ended up being a little too spicy for her. Before we even said anything, our waiter noticed she was struggling with the heat and brought her yogurt to make the curry milder AND extra rice so she would still have plenty to eat. That kind of attentiveness goes a LONG way and was genuinely appreciated. And speaking of the rice... the CARDAMOM! ❤️ It was so fragrant and flavorful and made something as simple as rice outstanding. My son told our waiter to surprise him with his entrée, and he brought out the lamb chops. They were cooked PERFECTLY, incredibly flavorful, and my son thoroughly enjoyed them. Just WOW. I was completely blown away the whole time I was dining! Everything from atmosphere, food, welcoming, warm and friendly service made this an extremely memorable and enjoyable experience. I had the butter chicken and my husband had the tikki masala. We were both making happy food noises after EVERY bite. As we were just here for a short trip, I’m sad I won’t be able to have this visit on my weekly rotation 😭. Aris, our server, was so lovely, sweet and warm towards us from beginning to end. Such a great experience at Bombay Darbar. The food tasted authentically delicious, absolutely stunning interior and ambiance. Visited for a date night last Friday evening, and the service provided by a young gentleman with glasses (forgive me for forgetting his name) was top tier! He was super sweet and attentive, while allowing us to enjoy our dining experience with ease. I truly cannot wait to visit again and spread the word about how amazing this restaurant is

Very nice looking large restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. We ordered haryali chicken, chilli paneer, veg biryani, chicken vindaloo and garlic naan. Service was good. Regarding food some were ok, but some were not up to mark. I would avoid chilli paneer, veg biryani. Haryali chicken was good. Chicken vindaloo was tasty. Garlic naan could have been better. So we partially enjoyed our meal. However Restaurant itself has nice decor and large.

Great place with excellent flavors. We were visiting Fort Lauderdale in January 2026 and stopped here for lunch. Although our experience started off a bit rough, as our lunch was delayed by about 45 minutes, we decided to wait. In the end, the wait was well worth it. The delay was more than compensated by a beautifully cooked Indian meal, rich in authentic flavors and well-balanced spices. Overall, the food left a very positive impression and made up for the long wait.
